Agreement
These Terms of Use govern access to newsleap.pro operated by NewsLeap Media Inc. By using the site you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree, do not use the site.
Service description
NewsLeap publishes editorial journalism for general information. Content is not legal, financial, medical, or professional advice. Seek qualified advisers before acting on information that affects your rights or finances.
Intellectual property
Text, graphics, logos, and layout are owned by NewsLeap or licensors and protected by Canadian and international copyright law. You may share links and quote brief excerpts with attribution. Republication, scraping, or systematic download requires written permission except where fair dealing applies.
User conduct
You agree not to: attempt unauthorised access to systems; submit unlawful, harassing, or defamatory material through forms; interfere with site operation; misrepresent affiliation with NewsLeap; or use automated means to harvest content at scale.
Comments and submissions
Material you submit via contact forms must be accurate to the best of your knowledge. You grant NewsLeap a non-exclusive licence to use tips and documents you voluntarily provide for editorial investigation. We are not obliged to publish or respond to every submission.
Membership
Optional paid membership terms, billing intervals, and cancellation rights are communicated at signup. Fees are quoted in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise. Refund rules follow the plan description active at purchase.
Disclaimers
The site is provided "as is" without warranties of uninterrupted availability or error-free content. Journalism involves judgment; we correct substantive errors on the record.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NewsLeap Media Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from site use. Aggregate liability for direct damages shall not exceed one hundred Canadian dollars except where prohibited by law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify NewsLeap against claims arising from your misuse of the site or violation of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Courts in Toronto, Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction subject to mandatory consumer protections.
Changes
We may modify these terms with an updated effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance where permitted.

Arbitration option
Where permitted, parties may agree in writing to resolve disputes through binding arbitration in Toronto under Canadian arbitration rules instead of court litigation. This clause does not apply unless separately agreed for membership disputes.
Survival
Provisions that by nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — survive cessation of site use.
NewsLeap trademarks and the NewsLeap wordmark may not be used in way that suggests endorsement without permission. Permitted sharing on social platforms using our article URLs and headlines with link backs is welcome. Scraping full article text into commercial apps without licence is prohibited.
You may print a reasonable number of copies of articles for personal, non-commercial use. Classroom use by accredited educators may quote excerpts with attribution under fair dealing; bulk reproduction requires permission.
We reserve the right to remove or modify content at any time. Archived URLs may redirect to updated stories or correction notices.
If you believe content infringes your copyright, send a notice to [email protected] with identification of the work, the URL, your contact information, and a good-faith statement. We respond under applicable notice-and-notice procedures.
Membership auto-renewal, if enabled, continues until cancelled through account settings or email request before the renewal date stated in your confirmation message.
Disputes arising from membership billing should first be raised with [email protected]. Unresolved matters may proceed to courts in Toronto, Ontario as set out in Governing law.
You may not frame newsleap.pro within another site without permission. Deep linking to individual articles is permitted.
We may assign these terms in connection with a merger or sale, provided the successor honours existing privacy commitments.
Force majeure: NewsLeap is not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside reasonable control including natural disasters, widespread network outages, or governmental actions.
Waiver: failure to enforce a provision does not waive future enforcement of that or any other provision.
Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
You represent that information you submit through forms is lawful and does not violate third-party rights.
Experimental features may be labelled beta and can change or end without notice.
Nothing in these terms creates a partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship between you and NewsLeap.
Class action waiver: to the extent permitted by applicable law, disputes must be brought individually and not as a class or representative action.
Export compliance: you agree not to use or export site content in violation of Canadian export laws or sanctions regulations.

By contacting us through forms or email, you consent to receive electronic replies related to your enquiry. Marketing messages, when sent, include unsubscribe options separate from transactional correspondence.

Non-confidential feedback you provide may be used to improve editorial products without obligation to compensate you, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
