Is NewsLeap an app, a SaaS leap product, or a PR wire service — and can I pay to have a news article published?

No. NewsLeap is an independent digital news publication that produces its own original reporting, live updates, analysis and features on individual article pages. "Leap" means a leap forward in coverage — the leap from a headline to real understanding — not a device, an app or a self-help brand. We are not a PR or press-release wire; paying us does not buy a news article or favourable coverage. We label opinion, analysis and any sponsored content clearly. The .pro TLD is branding only.

What does The Leap mean?

The Leap is our editorial motion: moving readers from a headline to the whole story with verified context. It appears in our hero design and standards language, not as a separate product.

How often do you publish?

We publish when stories meet our verification bar. On 16 July 2026 the newsroom filed eight reported pieces plus an editorial. Check the Latest page for the current edition.

Do you charge for access?

Essential public-interest coverage is free. Optional membership from C$8 per month supports the newsroom without paywalling core reporting.

How do I submit a correction?

Email [email protected] or use the contact form with subject Correction. Include the article URL, the claimed error, and supporting primary documentation. We append dated correction notes when warranted.

Who writes your stories?

Named journalists and the editorial board listed on each article. We do not publish anonymous opinion or fabricated personas.
